Soaking Prayer

So soon we pack away Baby Jesus
and make way for the baptism.

Last we heard of John,
he was leaping joy in his mothers womb.

And here they are
together again.

Life trickling between them
in the waters of the river.

Once a bath.

Now a river.

God speaking
Like Mother Mary
