When this picture passed through the family photo stream,
I immediately thought “Shekinah” (and asked permission to use it.)
I’ve been using this word a long time
whenever I see mist, or fog, or playful light among the trees.
You, O Shekinah,
cloaked in garments ethereal.
You, O Shekinah,
elegant and graceful.
You, O Shekinah,
Hebrew word
meaning Dwelling.
You, O Shekinah,
shaping your abiding
for a moment.

What a beautiful post in photo and word! Thank you so much for this special one.
Thanks Carol.
Lovely photo. Matching word and thought. This morning I was watching the early sun on the water. A peaceful, soothing time.
Thanks. I love early morning walks.
