Looking forward to this Study, Janice. We have done several of your Retreats now, and have enjoyed each one.
Our study in group is from the lot 16 United Church of the Bedeque North pastoral charge. We meet every Thursday night and are looking forward to this Advent study. In past years we have studied The Parables of Jesus and and also the Holy Spirit. The unit on the Holy Spirit was expanded to include a study of the book of Acts and how the Holy Spirit work in the disciples as a message of the word of God was evangelized through Palestine Asia Minor and and Macedonia. The group is led by 2 lay people who are actually Lay worship leaders- Edith MacLean and Winston Yeo. We will get back to you in the new year with an evaluation.

We are in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia. Riverview United Church has a long standing Tuesday afternoon Study Group that explores a variety of books etc. This will be our second Prayer Bench study.
Hello from Northwood United Church in Surrey, British Columbia! Our “On Our Faith Journey” group meets every Tuesday night (year round) for prayer, study and reflection together. They are looking forward to praying for you all and studying the Isaiah Poems this Advent Season.

I am so looking forward to bringing Isaiah Poems to St. David’s UCC, Port Hastings, NS. The group loved the Prayer Bench Bible Study we did for Lent. There are usually 10-12 participants. We will meet on Saturday morning. I will send you a progress report!
