Here is a simple process for Lectio Divina (Sacred Reading) to use with the audio recording.
Listen for a word or phrase that speaks to you. It might drop right into the ear of your heart. It might resonate with a ‘different’ energy. You may not like a word or image. What we feel as resistance often has much to teach us.
Listen again.
At the end of the reading, sit in silence and allow your word or phrase to sit on your heart. Perhaps it calls you to an action; perhaps it stirs a memory or a moment to savour.
Journal about your experience listening to the reading or write a prayer.
