The Turning of the Seasons is a year-long collection of resources provided to leaders throughout the year by email. Each offering provides thoughtful, ready-to-use material for worship, small groups, and personal reflection. Throughout the year, you are invited to keep watch, notice, give thanks, discover the sacred in the world around you, and honour the mysterious spaces between the realms.

Here are the Resources You Receive  

Title: Keeping Watch
Date delivered: Before December 1
You receive by email
+ An Advent Reflection with prayers and suggested practices.
+ A Small Group Study (one session) called Little Altars Everywhere, for use in Advent or in the season of Epiphany. This resource can also be adapted to use in Worship.

Title: Bright Week, Seven Days of Noticing
Date delivered: March 29 – April 4
You receive by email
+ Seven emails with a brief reflection and a noticing prompt to use each of the seven days after Easter Sunday celebrating Bright Week. These emails may provide the basis of a worship service the Sunday after Easter. The more we notice, the more we see.

Title: Ten Days for Gratitude
Date delivered: By May 1
You receive by email
+ A Guide with brief reflections, prayers and suggested practices for the thin days between Ascension to Pentecost (May 6-16.)
+ A Worship Service reflecting on The Gardener, The Vine, the Branches for use in the Pentecost season.

Title: The World is Full of God
Date delivered: End of June for use in Summer
You receive by email
+ Summer Sabbath booklet with four reflections, prayer and practice with accompanying resources for a worship series. Use for Summer Church or personal devotions.

Title: Between the Realms
Date delivered: before October 31
You receive by email
+ A Reflection with prayers and suggested practices for October 31, Nov. 1 and 2. This resource can be adapted to a Small Group Study.
+ A Hallowtide Worship Service to use on or around October 31.
